Developing Your Employees
Increasing individual initiative. Building your bench
About the Course
Coaching is not something you do. It’s something you are. The best leaders come to work thinking about coaching opportunities. There nothing better than working with competent, self-reliant employees.
Right now, how many people on your staff do you trust to run things when you are on vacation? What would your work life be like if just about anyone could fill in for you? This workshop shows you how to increase the skills and judgment for everyone that works for you.

Your Instructor
I am the founder of Leadership Means. I can still vividly remember
the first time I had to counsel an employee due to his
unsatisfactory performance. My heart was definitely pounding.
But I followed the steps I had taught others when I was in the
training department and I had a successful outcome.
I have over 30 years’ experience in developing and facilitating
leadership and personal development courses. I have taught more
than 5,000 managers and supervisors how to increase the level of
commitment and engagement of their employees. I also spent
many years of my corporate life in line management positions. So,
I have had the opportunity to use the same skills I have taught in
class. I’ll tell you about my successes, but just as importantly, I
tell you the mistakes I made so the you can avoid them. I promise
you will learn a lot and have some fun in the process.
